The next-generation Audi Q5 has been revolutionized with it’s new Quattro technology. In this post, I will be covering an overview of Audi’s new Quattro technology and it’s plus points against its German rivals.
The Quattro Technology
The next generation Quattro technology in Audi Q5 offers improved driving dynamics with more agility. With network control system which has 10ms response time provides quick system operations to enhance driving performance with analysis of steering movement, engine power, engine rpm. And with Audi’s best in the class gearbox, Quattro works seamlessly and can provide instant traction with all-wheel drive if required.
Audi’s Quattro technology is based on the driver’s driving pattern, ECS inputs, and engaged driving mode. Technology is smart enough to change characteristics if an immediate reaction is needed like a wet road on the highway. Drivers also have options to change the settings as per their preferences. Audi Q5 comes with multiple modes like Auto mode, Dynamic mode. If you do not know which mode to activate just leave it in auto mode.
Auto mode has capabilities to provide optimized traction and adequate steering handling. And for dynamic mode, torque is more channelled to rear wheels to provide driving centric performance.
Audi has made new Quattro work more efficiently with engine and transmission to enhance driving capabilities.
